DISSEMINATION

INDUSTRIAL WORKSHOPS

We will organize every year one industrial workshop to disseminate the knowledge to the local industry. The first year will be organized by TCD (Dublin, Ireland), the second year by TU/e (Eindhoven, Netherlands) and the third year by KTH (Stockholm, Sweden). Prof. Quevedo-Teruel has organized many of these workshops, in which around 10 local companies have attended. For example, in Stockholm, Prof. Quevedo-Teruel will invite the local industry in antennas and microwaves, including large companies as Volvo, Scania, SAAB and Ericsson.

SCIENTIFIC MEETINGS

There will be scientific meetings in Zoom, once every 2 months. In addition, we will have at least 3 in-person scientific meetings. These meetings will be held together with the industrial meetings (WP7) for efficiency in the use of resources, and ecologically (reduce of number trips). The meetings will be in Dublin (Ireland), Eindhoven (Netherlands) and Stockholm (Sweden) for the first, second and third year, respectively. The leader of each institution and member of the Board will be in-charge of organizing the meetings.

SHORT MISSIONS

Some of the researchers will visit other institutions for making effective the collaborations. In particular, there will be the following exchanges:

  • 3-month visit from TCD (Ireland) to KTH (Sweden). Associated to WP1 and WP3.
  • 3-month visit from KTH (Sweden) to TCD (Ireland). Associated to WP1 and WP3.
  • 3-month visit from TCD (Ireland) to TU/e (Netherlands). Associated to WP2 and WP3.
  • 3-month visit from TU/e (Netherlands) to TCD (Ireland). Associated to WP2 and WP3.

OUTREACH

The academic partners KTH, TCD and TU/e will visit local schools in their cities to promote the values of science and technology. Prof. Quevedo-Teruel and his team have a broad experience in these type of activities in Stockholm (Sweden), and it will be transferred to the other teams. Two visits per institution are expected during the project.
