Industry: Primary target group for communication and dissemination. The aim is to build confidence in
the reliability, performance, future value of the technology, and ensure alignment with industrial needs.
Scientific community: Share knowledge, validate results, and stimulate further research on memristors, mmWave technologies, and efficient beamforming hardware.
Students & early-career researchers: Attract talent, strengthen future research and innovation capacity, and support skills development in high-frequency communication hardware and related fields.
Policy, regulatory & standarisation actors: raise awareness of NOMAD's potential to strengthen European digital capacity and energy sustainability.
General public: Explain in accessible terms how the project can contribute to more efficient communication and sensing technologies with broader societal relevance.
ACTIVITIES
Publications: In leading journals including IEEE journals (IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation and Microwave Theory and Technology), Scientific Reports, Physical Review B or Physical Review Materials and, Nature or Science. Broader professional visibility through industry-facing platforms such as everythingRF.
Conference presentation and event presence: Project results will be presented at major international conferences relevant to both academia and industry, namely EuCAP, EuMW/EuMC, IEEE AP-S, and IEEE IMS. NOMAD will seek visibility at Mobile World Congress (MWC) Barcelona to reach a broader industry-oriented audience closer to the project end..
Workshops: workshops around three core themes: memristors (TCD), feeding networks (TU/e), and antennas and applications (KTH).
Educational Activities and training: Project knowledge will be integrated into MSc and PhD courses at consortium institutions in Sweden, Ireland, and the Netherlands, and, where relevant, in European training initiatives such as ESoA (European School of Antennas) courses.
Demonstrators and public outreach: Hands-on demonstrators to explain in accessible terms the societal relevance of the project. The activities will target non-specialists through outreach events, such as Stockholm's Nobel Week Lights, and TU/e Research Day.
Media, newsletters, and project digital presence: Continuous outward communication through annual press releases, yearly newsletters distributed to a curated stakeholder database, and regular updates via the NOMAD Project Website and LinkedIn page.
